Bored so I pulled up Mega Superbet's roster and don't know about guard play but they are loaded in the front court-- Bogoljub Markovic-6'11" #47 draft pick of the Bucks. Played well in Summer League but they opted to stash him at Superbet for ayear Lazar Gacic-6'10"- Demo's guy from the Serbian national team Luigi Suigo-7'3"- Prospect from Spain who visited IU back in June We will have our hands full and should learn alot about playing against size. Sort of a Big Ten preview.

So now we wait: Wait for Aleksa and Andrej to arrive in Bloomington. Wait for more visits. Wait for the Puerto Rico trip. Wait for more commitments. Wait for football season. Slow time of year in IU sports. Go Hoosiers.

Same with Acimovic the sooner the better. As you said probably wouldn't play but could get to know the guys and do team bonding stuff and practice. Maybe sit with an assistant during the game and learn the offense.

Whoa just saw that 7'0" international big man Sayon Keita is visiting Indiana tomorrow. One of 6 visits and he may reclass to 2026.Wow. Other visits are Kansas, Duke, U Conn, North Carolina, and Kentucky. Long shot but at least we are getting a visit

Watched a couple of the highlight videos and he seems a tad slow but some skills. Gives us some much needed frontcourt depth and 5 fouls if nothing else. Don't know the level of competition in his pro league but 17 ppg is not bad. Wondering if he gets here in time for the Puerto Rico trip? That KK MegaBasket team has a lot of size so he would come in handy and also see how he matches up with Luigi Suigo.

Well now that Najai Hines has chosen Seton Hall it seems like the international route is the only option left. Still wondering if we have a shot at Pavle Nikolic, Aleksa Ristic's teammate from Serbia. Hope there are other options and we do not leave the 13th scholarship open. If Keita can provide depth and 5 fouls it would be worth taking a chance. Then pair him with one of the 2026 centers we are after the following year and add Isaiah Hill in 2027.

I watched some of the USA vs New Zealand and my takeaway was damn Daniel Jacobson is going to be good for Purdue. Love Jordan Smith though.
