Asha’man Posted February 7 Posted February 7 Good win. Rebound and be secure with the ball and Wisconsin probably doesn’t even make their run. We gave them momentum and stole one. DChoosier 1 Quote
DChoosier Posted February 7 Posted February 7 Huge W. A loss today would have really, really crimped our tourney chances. I’m an IU fan that just wants to see IU basketball in the tourney. Is that asking too much? American HoosierX, BGleas, str8baller and 4 others 7 Quote

LamarCheeks Posted February 7 Posted February 7 I think the foul on Wilkerson at the end might have been a little questionable. But that definitely was a charge on Boyd. He lowered his shoulder and pushed off. These Fox dudes don't know what they're talking about. DChoosier, Jeff Flabjohns, Home Jersey and 2 others 4 1 Quote

reconmkd Posted February 7 Posted February 7 (I really thought the PU game was a turnaround game, seems not so much!) I started writing the above before the end of the second half. Well, I guess way to gut it out? What an absolute horrible way to close out a game! There are still obvious/significant issues with this team, but man I’m more worried about the coaching decisions for the last 15 mins of the game! Call a timeout, break the other teams rhythm, run more than 2 offensive plays during that stretch. I guess I am being too critical, try to enjoy the wins, try to enjoy the wins! Josh 1 Quote

Hoosierfan2017 Posted February 7 Posted February 7 Great win. This team didn’t like to make it easy on the fans, but they keep finding ways to pull out these wins. The team has grit and toughness, which speaks well of Coach Devries. Make the tournament, get some momentum going into the portal, and add some talent to build up heading into next year. Unexpectedflash Posted February 7 Posted February 7 lol huge win. Thank you refs. I feel like this team is so close but refuses to do the little things. Any time we could put the game out of reach for good we’d miss a rebound, foul, or commits turnover. Hopefully it all comes together to finish the year Quote

HoosierHoopster Posted February 7 Posted February 7 Btw great individual D on Blackwell on his drive and shot at end of regulation— thought he was going to win it for the cheese heads but the D forced him into a weak shot. hoosierfan6157, str8baller and J34 3 Quote
str8baller Posted February 7 Posted February 7 Won another one without Conerway and with Dorn in the lineup. Dorn didn’t play great but the opposing team spends so much time covering him, Wilkerson and Devries that it opens the lane up for guys like Alexis and Enright. I don’t see any anyway you can get away from this starting lineup at this point, even though it was really ugly down the stretch. BGleas, Jeff Flabjohns, HoosierHoopster and 3 others 6 Quote
HoosierCoop Posted February 7 Posted February 7 Dorn has to give us something. He has been MIA the last two games. Stuhoo 1 Quote
American HoosierX Posted February 7 Posted February 7 The number of defensive rebounds that IU couldn’t secure that turned into Wisconsin 3s on their 3rd or 4th try was maddening. But man, we gutted out a win. BannerVille 1 Quote
Popular Post Uspshoosier Posted February 7 Popular Post Posted February 7 Last time IU got the benefit of the doubt late calls at home? Sure there are examples but it’s been a while since it’s been the house of calls. Coming against Wisky I’m here for all of them this time around Ryno6284, mamasa, Hoosier DaDa and 13 others 16 Quote
WayneFleekHoosier Posted February 7 Posted February 7 I can’t begin to describe my emotions the last 30 minutes of that game. This game was critical. Thought for sure we pissed it away twice. My goodness. We needed it so bad. Home friendly calls in the final 2 possessions without question. My goodness. Jeff Flabjohns, Stuhoo, moyemayhem and 1 other 4 Quote
HoosierHoopster Posted February 7 Posted February 7 Alexis’s 4 blocks and timely boards just outstanding edit - 5 blocks, with his 19 pts and 7 boards - great, great game from Sam J34, Hoosier DaDa, Jeff Flabjohns and 1 other 4 Quote
