It's crazy to think that when Tom Allen was fired I was just hoping we'd get a guy who would consistently get us to 6 or 7 wins a year. Just didn't want to be an automatic win for damn near 80% of the conference

I was a middle schooler in the Chicago suburbs in 1978.— so pretty much yes.

But that Hula Bowl team did not dominate defensively like Aiden’s guys do.

I was at this game.

Nebraska beat us by 40+. 
 

Norman had 24 tackles and was the defensive player of the game.

Without any supporting cast, he was a beast

I was thinking Holiday Bowl, but that was 79 after Norman apparently. IU was 4-7 during Joe Norman’s fantastic senior year. So Aiden Fisher.
