Texas Tech has deep NIL pockets. Could be he is happy there and can get the resources needed to compete.

Regardless of whether either AD might have gotten their 2nd choice regarding the 2, and I seriously doubt that, both DeVries and McCollum clearly got their 1st choice.

Perfect location for him. I think it was the plan for a long while. Can win at a solid level with limited NIL. Let’s see how that holds up at the next level. See how many Iowa guys he can retain. Freeman is gone I think, but the others?

Personally, I think most/all that hit the portal are gone.  They don't seem to be a fit for the system -- with Fran it was push pace, shoot threes, not play a lick of defense.
