I saw it was approved by their board of trustees earlier this week, and Trilly said yesterday that it had been signed. But I hope you're right,

In the Hoosiers Connect interview with Coach, he mentioned he's basically been on the phone non-stop. I have to think Coach Devries knows the following: 

1) He has a pretty good idea who his staff will be. 

2) He has a decent idea of which players are coming with him from WVU (recruits too). 

3) I think he also has an idea of who is out there and who hasn't officially entered the portal yet.

Murphy always felt like a pretty serious pipe dream given where Bama is and what they’re able to pay. But, hey, if DeVries expressed interest and his guy ended up leverging a raise out it, no harm, no foul.

The Moikobu thing fascinates me and I REALLY hope that happens. Check out the guy’s resume:

Every school he’s been at has gotten much better immediately. So he’s either: 1) the Forrest Gump of Asst Coaches and just walks into great situations, 2) a guy with a great eye for good coaches, or 3) a really, really great Asst. Pretty sure it’s a combination of 2 and 3. So I’m in big-time on that dude.

They extending past his current 2027 contract or just approved a raise?  If they extended past his current one then it would seem he is staying however if they just approved a raise and didn’t extend his current contract then IU could possibly still be in the mix

Who knows.  I would guess bama won’t let him go without a fight however Oats will be just fine finding a replacement.   The guy lost all his assistants to head coaching jobs a couple years ago and turned out to find more sharks

It looks like a raise to $675k and extension.

I don't see an extension in this article, just the raise. Calls him the "de-facto general manager" at Bama. I'm not sure if this is behind a paywall or not:

Kansas St, Missouri and Austin Peay are his other offers as of now. Looks like he could position himself to gain more attention over the summer. Sounds like he's got a good handle and can shoot. Like the profile.

Man…… I promise you all that I’m trying….. but I do not feel an ounce of excitement towards IUBB. Not even a little bit. 
 

I can’t tell if it was the apathy from the last 2 years, or whether I’m just missing something with CDD. 
 

I’ve read, watched, and listened to all things CDD lately and it’s not moving me at all. 
 

I hope everyone adjusts their expectations and realizes that this is going to be a much longer build than what we were wanting.
