So now that you put your conclusions about Devries on the open board, I’ll ask again; what is it about his resume, character, etc. that makes you feel so strongly that he is a terrible choice?

5th choice? 10th choice? Maybe, we don't know. If we landed someone that far down the list and he was still a sitting P5 coach, like DeVries was, maybe we're not as bad off as some people (like you) seem to think.

Maybe he'll bomb. Maybe he'll be just okay. Maybe he'll end up being great. No one knows yet. I'm satisfied  (and optimistic) but not super ecstatic with the hire and plan to actually give him some time to show us what he can do.
