Didn't look like Tennessee would survive in the B1G.

I guess this is the world we'll have to live in as we push to get better in football.  ESPN/Kirk, Paul, etc. shilling for the conference they have a contract with or just saying things to try and juice ratings.  It's not good for CFB, but unfortunately it is what it is.

I can't stand ND but I hope they destroy Georgia. It'd be great if ASU beats Texas as well to knock the SEC out of the playoffs.

Yeah maybe ten years ago my ND hate would have wanted them to lose. But my SEC hate has surpassed it. I hope Notre Dame wins 35 - 10.

The thing is I'm not sure Finebaum even believes what he says. He may have at some point, but now he takes advantage of a low IQ but passionate fanbase that will parrot whatever he says. To be honest, it's probably a good business model for him, but it is just rage bait for the opposition and he gets clicks from it.

The only thing we still have that’s been the same quality for literally as long as I can remember is the Around the Horn and PTI block. The PTI guys used to be considered the hot take artists. They haven’t changed a bit and are now the most sane people on the entire network.

Yep, and those games were on the road against well coached teams with 5x our NIL (Ohio State) and 3-4x (ND) that have been stacking recruiting classes for years.  I'm bummed we didn't play better, we could have, but those are extremely tough games and the outcomes should not discourage us.  That said, we have some more building to do to compete with them, and we are putting forth a legit best effort to do that right now.

Final AP rankings are out. We're No. 10. 

I'm not exactly sure why Boise or Tennessee would be ahead of us, but whatever -- we made the Top 10 when we were picked to finish 16th in the 18-team B1G.
