Perhaps Conwell wasn't about the right things in DDV's opinion. Could just be a loss due to $ or it could be one of those examples DeVries gave about passing on a high end talent if he didn't feel they were about "the right things". I'll trust him until I can't. We will have a roster.

I’m assuming CDD has a plan and is sticking to it. Powell was mentioned early when he was first hired but not much since the portal opened.

Not sure why people considered him a candidate to come with CDD given that he announced for the portal while DeVries was still the WVU HC. That told me he was definitely not a candidate to come.
