I think everyone is overthinking this.  It’s more or less style of play or familiarity.  Nothing more or less.  I think the money is the same.  That’s fine.  Not going to get everyone one and you move onto the next.

Totally agree. Especially with Dusty in mind… I can’t imagine DDV was just completely unaware of how that all played out. That he embraced the challenge here knowing the mood among fans / state of the program, makes me really want to root for him. Like you said hopefully some new developments shake out soon and we have more to be excited about.

Yeah, hadn’t heard the Reneau number before.  Dakich said it. But it may be what he’s being offered by the next school. Would make sense actually.

Woody did it last year and we put expectations of top of the conf and S16 on him. Why would CDDs expectations be lower than Mike freaking Woodson?? That’s crazy to me. 

Yup…hell, CDD had to build WVU from scratch last year and frankly should’ve made the tournament. With our resources and CDD coaching ability, comfortably making the tournament and winning a game or two should be the expectation next year..and I still think that’s what we will get.

I think so. I like Conwell and think he would’ve been a really good fit. But he isn’t the end-all, be-all of portal guards. He’s still a little undersized and isn’t going to take over games with his athleticism.  
 

We have top level money, any coach worth anything is going to put together a top roster. We’ll see DDVs plan start to come together after a few signings. The mystery is killing people now.
