If there was a deeper look and understanding of team psychology you might see it. If you have played at a high level, you might. If your extent of bb knowledge is watching and understanding analytics you might not. 

Feel free to answer that honestly. I promise you no matter how it may seem as a positive for Woody, your reply won’t be used in court when deciding Woody’s fate. 

It was his going away party game?

Woody told them he was retiring after the season so they played hard?

Most of the players know they only have a few games left to show other colleges what they can do before entering the portal?

The way he’s been lately with his comments, stubbornness, lack of awareness, attitude, ego, etc etc etc, has gotten me to the point of wanting him gone more so than I did Archie, and that’s crazy, especially considering he’s “one of our own”.

Did anyone think we were going to lose 9 straight games? I'm still expecting to win at least one more. But I don't think that changes anything long-term.

We still have a terrible 24 class. 25 class still doesn't want to play for Woody

We are going to have a lot of spots to fill for next season. Everything from donations, NIL and just fans will be down next season so the one win doesn't change anything for me. 

But with X back I heard that Quinn is thinking one word EXTENSION. DWS

Don’t get me wrong, Ware is a fantastic player and I’m happy he had the game that he did, but him having a lightning in a bottle type of perform just enables Woodson to stroke his own ego about saying his playing style works…like I said earlier, if he doesn’t have a Ware, or a JHS, or a TJD having games like that then he’s screwed.

I really hope this ends up being the case, and if it is, it would make a ton of sense, especially knowing how they’ve played recently and then all of a sudden we get a game like last night

So, in your opinion, why did they play harder last night?  Or, in the alternative, why does it appear they gave less than their best effort for the 27 games before last night?

Someone has already pointed this out but no other P5 school would have Woodson anywhere on their short-list of coaching names.  To be completely honest, I'm not sure any mid-major schools would either but for some reason, he was good enough for IU.

I don’t think we should lose sight of the fact that our first round pick had a career night and we beat a mid Wiscy team by 4 at home. It was a nice win, but it’s not like there was some magical corner we turned.

Your analogy makes no sense. Boycotting games is one of the few ways fans can influence the administration. A company isn’t incentivized to improve its crappy product when it sells out every day. IU is perfectly happy putting out a crappy team year in and year out because fans keep buying all the tickets.
