Nothing. This is a firing without the firing part. 
Pathetic it's being portrayed as if Woody has a choice in the matter. The man is getting fired, forced out, whatever you want to call it but he certainly isn't sitting around his office contemplating a damn thing. 
Just fire this idiot already and get it over with. 
It fits the narrative we have been told. They are trying to protect his ego and his image far more than they would an ordinary coach who wasn't bestie with a high trustee and a beloved former player. Nobody is going to see this and think woodson decided on his own

What I don't under stand for the life of me is he played in RMK's early years, and Woody experinced first hand RMK's intense coaching and never-ending preparations. Woody knew what it takes to win it all at D1 level, but did he think he can pull it off by working so much less than RMK?

He was old and semi retired when they made the mistake of hiring him and knew he had friends protecting him, and probably figured he'd just be worshipped because he played here.
