You know sometimes you won't know a person's true color until you put him on a highly important position. Some people seem to be humble and down to earth simply because they're insecure due to lack of success. Woodson is a good example. He hadn't been successful in NBA coaching circle, and for good reasons. But once he became arguably the most important figure in Bloomington, we all got to see who he really was when given power.

Said this earlier -- I didn't think an announcement would come today.

If something happens, tomorrow would be more appropriate. It's the day before a game, when a coach would normally hold a presser -- plus I don't think Dolson wants to overshadow the women's game.

And there's the aspect of a Friday news dump!

I say this admitting full well I know nothing about nothing. Just a gut feeling -- and with the size of my gut these days, I typically listen.

Trust the process ...

This is what it was like last year after McNeely decommitted. Everyone was like, “It’s time! It’s time!” Then Dolson comes out via Osterman and gives Woody the ‘All Clear’. Pretty frustrating. Ready for a better ending to this sad story.

Sounded like Dolson was ready to move on last offseason, but QB intervened - again.

QB has been the biggest road block in all this … so the leak, I mean publishing, of the private jet story just three days ago seems calculated…

I think he thought he was going to be the next bobby knight. He thought he would be a beloved historic figure.

So all we have really learned today as of right now is Woodson is still just doing his job in assembly hall.

Which is crazy bc he had every opportunity to be successful here. He just got in his own way.
