That would not be a hire made to bring the fans back. Then if he didn't win big immediately? Wow, that would make this toxicity look tame. Luckily, I just don't see any way IU would hire him anyways so this argument about whether or not he should be hired is moot. If Louisville nor Kentucky didn’t hire him, no chance he’ll end up at IU. Seems to be a trend with Woody. When it gets real bad he somehow gets a few wins and maintains low-end mediocrity. With how much the team is focused on tweet fighting with people you might not have to worry about that. They are not focused. Silat Player 1

Buckner told him he could move on if he got a big name but it couldn't be Pearl, he tried Stevens but he said the timing wasn't right. So he got May, but Buckner said he wasn't a big enough name. Then he pulled the Archie got 4 years so Mike is getting 4 years. But Dusty knew before talking to Louisville or Michigan that most likely this job was going to be open this year hence the 5 million buyout Buckner really is such a cancer and needs to be completely removed from any authority over IU basketball. tkbbn, MikeRoberts, FWHoosier84 and 3 others 6

Will be a great resume builder, and we’ll kick in an extra $100k for your efforts.” “Thanks, Scott, I’m truly honored…but, going to have to pass this time. You still need someone who is the stage of his life of being willing to work hard, and has the drive to be a winner. I honestly don't care if it's Stevens, May, McCollum, Beard, etc. Just go get a guy who works as hard as the players he coaches and let's roll. Ok just kidding I want Stevens more than the others. It doesn’t buy you wins but it can get you talent. Getting a quality coach over quality recruiter is even more important now. Because the talent will come for the NIL. cybergates 1

You can't put Hunter or especially Rosemond in charge. I know this will be a (very?) unpopular opinion, but I would choose Rosemond. Every game I've been to in Woodson's tenure, I've had very good seats and can watch the bench interaction closely. Rosemond appears to be, by far, the most engaged coach and isn't afraid to get into Woodson. Personally watched him keep Woodson from costing us the St. Johns game in his first season, Woodson was totally discombobulated. That was actually my first "Oh ****" moment with Woodson, just seems totally lost/confused at times. If you watch the games that Hunter scouts...those tend to be the ones where we look the least prepared. Lastly, Rosemond does seem to be the ONE good recruiter on the team. The only real successes that I can think of have come from him. Maybe he can keep the team engaged enough to fight the rest of the season and possibly keep a few around for the next regime. It also increased his buyout, though it helps we can pay it out slowly, it’s still more money out the door. I’m sure Quinn was behind it — more money deposited to Mack Financial.
