No worries at all and I totally get it. Again, I'm not saying anything is for sure done or that it's even the result any of us want. But the quote from the parent and their feelings are 100% legit.

This basically means nothing, but I thought it was interesting nonetheless. Talked to someone who directly talked to a players parent within the last couple of days. Parent told them Scott had said to "TOTALLY tune out all the noise you're hearing, nobody knows anything this time around and they won't until the announcement is made". Sounds like this parent felt very confident in Scott's stance and thinks it will be a great hire and felt like things might be done. Now obviously Scott will be sending that message, but I'll just keep my fingers crossed and hope that we're heading for a good ending to this drama.

Bingo, that's him! Total clown show. He's always got a chip on his shoulder doing the game...always looking to play tough guy.

My son was playing in a game around 3rd-4th grade at Lafayette Jeff high school. One of the refs was a former PUke player and a REAL dick. Another dad and I are standing at the corner baseline by our basket. Other guys son makes a great pass to my son who makes the shot and is hammered, but no foul called. Not one peep out of us except for the other dad claps and tells both his son and my son great play and don't worry about the no call, go play D. Ref turns around, stops the game and throws us both out of the game. We were both left laughing and refused to leave. After other parents all confirmed to the other ref nothing was said, they agreed to let us stay and watch...from the balcony!

I'll be honest, if it's Scott Drew my damn near 50 years of supporting IUBB probably ends. The guy is just a totally cringe worthy individual. And before anyone starts, it's not his religion, it's the way he acts behind the scenes while still "hiding" behind his faith. Remember the Hanner stuff? It's been years since I have, but I heard stories about him from AAU coaches that were very off-putting to say the least. I remember the crap he tried to pull with RMK...still would have loved to watch him soil himself when Knight tracked him down. Just in general, seems like a very odd insincere person and I just don't think I could get behind him.

In my 50 years of life I never thought I would say this...but if it's Drew I instantly become a fan of another school. I'm sure he would do fine, but the stories I've heard about that guy make my skin crawl. Quite possibly the biggest hypocrite in the lower 48.

They “Retired” Coach Woodson Thread
MTB22 replied to Banksyrules's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
I know this will be a (very?) unpopular opinion, but I would choose Rosemond. Every game I've been to in Woodson's tenure, I've had very good seats and can watch the bench interaction closely. Rosemond appears to be, by far, the most engaged coach and isn't afraid to get into Woodson. Personally watched him keep Woodson from costing us the St. Johns game in his first season, Woodson was totally discombobulated. That was actually my first "Oh ****" moment with Woodson, just seems totally lost/confused at times. If you watch the games that Hunter scouts...those tend to be the ones where we look the least prepared. Lastly, Rosemond does seem to be the ONE good recruiter on the team. The only real successes that I can think of have come from him. Maybe he can keep the team engaged enough to fight the rest of the season and possibly keep a few around for the next regime. Just my 2 pennies worth. -

Correct, 2nd wife and to my knowledge she was never a cheerleader. He met her on a flight, she was the flight attendant. -

Not a big deal, but his is 100% false. The scandal part, true, but he did not marry her. -

WTH are you talking about? Eric's dad was a very successful salesman and was pulling down very large $$ at that time. He never joined the staff...
