Dude has been exposed as much as Mike Woodson this year. He puffed his chest 24/7 this summer and was incredibly abrasive, and then he went into hiding after the Louisville game. It reconfirms my theory that he was a Woodson plant.

No doubt and he came out swinging. He pretty much joined the board when this thread started and insistently wouldn’t shut up about how right he was.

The only reason IU is "on the bubble" is due to pre-season rankings. If this were, say, Eastern Michigan with the same resume, they wouldn't even be on the radar.

In another month or so, IU won't still be getting the benefit of the doubt based on being overrated in the preseason.

Great point. IU Basketball is currently getting the SEC Football version of poll inertia. The B1G is also down this year on the whole IMO. .500 in league play is not going to get in I don't think. We really needed a Q1 win in the Bahamas and it was not being talked about enough. The rest of the non-con left no room for laying an egg like that.

I understand why Woody scheduled like he did this season since getting smashed in national marquee games is a trademark of his regime, but it left us zero wiggle room. Last night was a winnable road game, any shot at the tourney requires those now to sniff the bubble.

I would disagree with that.  Preseason rankings have no effect on if a team is on the bubble or not.   IU is trending in the wrong direction however they would be considered being on the bubble at this point in the season because they do have a top 75 neutral court win good for a Q2 win with their 3 losses to current tournament quality teams or other teams in the mix.   Nebraska beat Creighton on the road so no shame in losing to them on the road.    With all that said I personally don’t feel they are a tourney team or even close to the cut line yet but just wanted to give a bracketologist perspective as to why you will see them mentioned on the bubble

Agree that preseason ranking wouldn’t matter because IU would not be on the bubble right now. 1-3 in quad 1-2 with the 3 losses being blow outs would not get us in. It’s an up hill climb from here.

The guys on twitter all summer said Woodson is cooking and has a top ten team. It was pathetic

Imagine taking 6 million dollars and flushing it down the toilet. That's the big boosters. But the king thanks them

The perfect Christmas present would be a Woodson retirement video. Would be a great way to save face for him personally

It’s the only way for the rest of the year to not be full of blood curdling screams and echoing boos.

Yeah, he burned the main course...

Looking ahead to March Madness…. Wait a couple more games and bet on IU to win the NCAA March Madness tournament.  The odds should be astronomical and potentially a lot of $$$ money to be made.

Woof. Two things can be true:

Mike Woodson is not the answer

 Neither is Dane Fife.

I don't think he should be the Coach but that is co-signing things we have heard about Woodson.

-Not a good leader or work environment?  Check

-Doesn't take the time or care enough about individuals to get personal things (like their name) right?  Check

I imagine that if things continue on the course they are on this year, more people are going to have "Hoosier Hysteric", Brian Evans, and now Dane Fife kind of things to say.
