I think if he gets 12 big ten wins knowing our administration, who knows. I have zero faith in them.

I’m having Deja Vu I think. Woodson team looks terrible and it’s obvious he’s going to be fired, and the team wins an ugly game in support of him enough to make it hard for Dolson to pull the trigger. That was an ugly game between two bottom of the conference teams. But somehow this will get used to erase how far from expectations we are. Great job! You beat a 2-5 team in overtime! I don’t know, but after NW we’re going to lose six or seven in a row to the top half of the conference. It’s just a matter of time. I wish we would just fully implode for once and stop saving mediocrity.

If 1 win solidifies anything then there was nothing ever really being talked about.  This goes well beyond a win here or there.  They are going to win some more games this season.

To anyone who wants Woodson fired midseason for interim see OSU. Want no part of a dead cat bounce from an interim who then gets job full time completely screwing program as has happened to Buckeyes.

Woodson needs to go but after season. An interim now could do way more damage to program long term if they do well and are kept which could absolutely happen. Want no part of Jake Diebler Ohio St situation.

Love the dead cat bounce reference; however, I see no way this would occur. We’ll get our change and Dolson will get his man.

Agree 100%. This is Woodson's last year, I don't really care if he gets let go during the season or afterwards. I'm going to keep rooting for my team.

Agree completely. However, no concern there. We have nobody on our coaching staff the admin would ever consider hiring as the head coach on a permanent basis. Mark that down. Fact.

I understand what you're saying but having the fans booing and screaming at the rest of the homea games would do more damage. And dolson knows he has to get the next hire right.

Have not posted in this thread today until now, and know how this is going to be received, but gotta say it anyway.

This is the FMW thread. One that I wholeheartedly support and am on board with. It devolved into a “let’s rip the players “ conversation. And it grew like wildfire.

I get it. These guys are getting paid…a lot. They are still young guys who are not going to be consistent from day to day. Hell, were you at age 19-24? I wasn’t. Calling guys soft. I have said we need more toughness, but anyone who is willing to put their bodies through what it takes to play at this level is hardly soft.

Woodson deserves the criticism and whatever fate he gets. Too bad that the folks who chose to denigrate the players can’t put aside their bile and congratulate some players who played their azzes off tonight.
