Losing 4 straight to Nebraska by average of almost 19 points should be cause for termination on it's own, especially with one of those being almost 30 points.

Hard to scream "I'm a horrendous coach" louder than that.

Maybe Woodson's goal is to make everyone notice the other sports more. Other sports still going on which IU is good at:

Football

Women's basketball (not as good as the last few years but better than this **** show)

Both swim teams

So disappointing.

No reason this team should be this awful at defense. Just plain can’t get stops. Leal is our best on ball defender. Seriously.

Carlyle was a miss. He could be okay at some point but that is not what we needed at SG.

Dang it. Another wasted year. I think we will likely be a bubble team all season. And more likely than not have our bubble burst.

Does 10-10 in the B1G get us in?

I always look forward to each new basketball season until this year and now this season can’t end soon enough.  I have grown tired of watching this crap show.  But what kills me is this team has talent but we have the worst coach in the B10 and he doesn’t know how to pull this team together and them start playing well.

Woodson is worse than Archie. He has $6 million and the transfer portal to buy a team with and he’s delivering marginally better results.

I thought he was better than Miller since he actually made the NCAA twice. Now I'm starting to change my mind that Woodson exceeds even that very, very low bar. Those two seasons were with Miller players, TJD in particular. Of course, the Woodson apologists say that TJD was out the door so Woodson gets credit keeping him. Miller brought him to IU and coached him for 2 years. He's a Miller player.

Both are such bad coaches that it's really hard to tell now which is worse.

I'd love an update on the status of the "stakeholders."  If there is not a groundswell, is there at least a "swell" against Mike?  I bet there is and was before this.

I'd also bet Scott is contemplating moving Mike out and he is planning to do that in three months.

Archie is bad, but there is no way Woody could do at Dayton what Archie did.

Woody could be the worst coach in D1 this year.  Top-5 NIL and he's on the bubble... I can't think of anyone else with such a mismatch of resources to results.

BTW. I do show up here when they lose and take being called out. Funny how most of the posters were on this thread were absent from the conversation after the positive performance v Minnesota.

Don't think many people were hiding out after a less than inspiring win vs the 165th ranked Dawson Garcias.  That you think that a quad 4 win is a positive performance explains a lot.

The stakeholders are wise and not kneejerk like the dirty fans.  They will observe, evaluate, and contemplate the season as it plays out.  Then they will consider all factors and make a strategic and pragmatic decision at the end of the season.  This is how it is done at IU.  In fact, this is how other schools do it.  The unwashed fans just cannot understand the wisdom of the stakeholders -- Quinn really knows basketball!
