It obviously sucks XJ is injured, but I'll say this... the fact we're winning close games against conference opponents without him at this time of year, is super encouraging IMO. Yes we're all griping about the guard play and there's much debate on Gunn/Cupps/Gallo/Leal. Everyone's got their own view. If there's any silver lining to XJ being out for this period of time, its that our very thin backcourt gets a chance to play more minutes and develop. I think (hope) that will pay dividends for Cupps and Gunn come February/March.

That's not my point. I'm not defending the post guys. I'm, reluctantly because I love Cupps, saying Cupps sucked defensively. I think that's where our disconnect is.

We needed this one. I could see Michigan fade. Bench is disjointed. Some teams fade when things don’t go their way. I project that happens to Michigan. Howard’s time is dwindling. We might have regretted this one if it was an L.

Said this to my son with 6.6 secs to go when we didn’t know who the ball went off of with Reneau. Win or lose. I feel good moving forward, everyone played well tonight. We might accidentally be good. Juwan Howard has been out, that’s a huge loss. Michigan is better than record. I’d like to see them get him back. They got talent

Gallo-  I’m cutting him slack. We know he can shoot (has a hitch in his fit up) but we know he’s capable of shooting. He’s played out of position this year, he’s not a PG but serviceable. Great at the spot for designed olays here and there. 
 

And oh yeah, I case you forgot. He usually guards their best perimeter player on the other end.

Sounds like it might be your internet connection. I have never had trouble watching anything on Peacock. Of course, I had to watch on my phone because the internet is down hear. Still looked good.
