Oh, they certainly exist or at least did. He was responding to people under his very supportive initial tweet. Definitely a little odd.

Yep. And that was the reason for my post. 

He's absurdly supportive, and I hope it is genuine (I think it is) ... all I did was read Chris007s and posted. 

There are parents that fake support to get their kid mins.

There was plenty of hype for this one. One of the best rivalries in the sport, a rejuvenated Indiana team hosting the No. 1 squad in the country, arguably the best head-to-head positional battle we'll see all season with Zach Edey taking on Trayce Jackson-Davis. And it didn't disappoint. Indiana had all the momentum early, extending its lead to 16 points late in the first half. As expected, the Boilermakers came back, cutting the Hoosiers' lead to one possession on several occasions. And while Edey (33 points, 18 boards) and Jackson-Davis (25 points, seven boards) held their own, it was freshman Jalen Hood-Schifino who made the biggest plays of the game. After landing awkwardly on a missed layup with 7:32 remaining, it looked like the freshman guard's night might be over. But he didn't leave the game, and scored eight points in the final 7:14 -- including the game-clinching layup with 25 seconds left.

I watch Trey Kaufman and am left wondering what kind of player he's trying to be.

I was bummed when we missed out on a top 50 guy from southern Indiana, but I'm definitely not anymore.

Wanted to add to the comments as he wasn't talked about much, a relatively 'quiet' game from a box score standpoint, Bates had some really, really nice passes and all-around offensive execution against PU. Excellent decision-making in several key moments in the game, leading to baskets. One of those games where he wasn't a scoring focus, but made a real difference. Was great to see.

Banks has a really good knack for cutting, as well. Very Troy Williams ish, Sheehey type vibes when he cuts.

Really good stuff there.  I expect in the second match up that Purdue will look to have Furst on Trayce and Edey on Thompson/Reneau.  That would mean a bigger emphasis on Thompson and Reneau's play because that could force Edey out higher if they are effect in PnR or if they could hit (especially Race) a couple of outside shots.
