They Fired Tom Allen!

Recommended Posts

I saw somewhere on Twitter today…. That in 2022 IU made 34.3 mil in profit from athletics. Any credibility to that. Also if that’s the case… A buyout might not be as hard as it seems.
Somebody post the list in a thread on here somewhere. IU at the top of the list.

Then no excuse. Fire him tomorrow

Would losing out do the trick? I have serious doubts we win another game. Rutgers becoming bowl eligible on our home field on homecoming this Saturday is going to be a real kick in the dick.

Hope that Akron field goal miss doesn’t come back to haunt us.

Not even IU would bring him back if we lose out no matter the buyout.

I agree. There would have to be some sort of settlement. I would say even if he wins 4 games, the chances of him returning are slim. Recruiting is going to be impossible. The AD better be putting out feelers.

Wholesale changes needed but we might have to wait a year.  None of it matters for IUFB, we will likely always be cellar dwellers.

Don’t think Terry Hoepnerr or Kevin Wilson would’ve had us as cellar dwellers….we were competitive. The current product on the field is a disaster

IU should use some of that $20M they're not spending to fire Allen to build better basketball facilities. If they are willing to let football be this bad, the basketball needs to be elite.

Yes but Kevin Wilson was a big meanie so we had to bring in Mr. LEO to replace him.

I love how Kevin Wilson has become such a great coach here.  He was 8-32 in the Big Ten before Tom Allen came, lol.

He went to back to back bowl games before they fired him and his teams were at least entertaining to watch. Lots of offense. IU scored 40+ against 5 P5 schools in 2015. Allen’s teams are both awful and incredibly boring to watch. IU hasn’t scored 40 in a game against a P5 school since 2019.
