IUBB Players in the Portal/Draft Exploratory Status

This thread will separate other schools' transfer/draft declaration candidates from potential IUBB  departures.

1. Indiana G Khristian Lander has entered the transfer portal.
2. Indiana C Michael Durr has entered the transfer portal.
3. Indiana G Parker Stewart has entered the transfer portal.
4. Indiana F Trayce Jackson-Davis has declared for the NBA Draft (keeping Eligibility).

 

1. Indiana G Rob Phinisee has transferred to Cincinnati.

You started this thread because you know news usually breaks the day before the sweet 16. I'm guessing most of the meetings have taken place this week, so hopefully, start hearing something soon. Maybe even today.

Any specific reason its right before the s16? Just because it gives teams time to talk to their players or what

That and headlines before the Sweet 16. Teams like to fire their coach right before the tournament as we did with Crean.

Every D1 coach in america is recruiting the portal at the moment. The sooner they know who is on the way out, the better.

@Stuhoo small request my friend, could we keep the first post in the thread dedicated to just updated player disposition and their current status (portal/exploratory/etc)?  That could serve as a nice one-stop-shop so members don't have to hunt through multiple pages of in the thread.  Thank you sir!

Good luck to KL. Assume he probably would not have played off ball for CMW given coach’s preference for plus positional size, which means he might’ve seen the writing on the wall: behind X, JHS, maybe even Trey at PG, and Phin if he returns.

Bummer. I’ve been off the bandwagon since he got himself suspended when playing time was there for the taking, but I still think he’s talented. Hope he finds a good fit for himself.

I'm fairly certain that during their post-season meeting, Woody made it clear that KL would not be a good fit for IUBB's future plans.
