Glad to flight tracker still works when were not tracking coaches. We're the refs part of the last four in too? TJD & JG played as well as they could. P Stew played a lot but we don't win without his D on Maldanado. Everyone else struggled with him. Off Night for Race, Trey, Rob, Kopp. We won with bad X so you have to think we will get good X tomorrow night. We can definitely beat St Mary's but I think we'll be really tired though. Should be a good one. Quote

I think the refs go thru an "evaluation" process during the tournament. At least they used to. But now, maybe the worst ones advance instead of the good ones... I've never witnessed a blatant, end of the game, phantom foul call in my life. I think they actually felt sorry for Wyoming or something? Hopefully those in authority took good notes. Popular Post Class of '66 Old Fart Posted March 16, 2022 Popular Post Posted March 16, 2022 Some perspective on TJD's 29 points last night from @IndianaOnBTN: Most by IU player in #MarchMadness since 2001 (@KirkHaston35IU, 29 vs. Kent State) Tied for 3rd-most by an IU player in tourney in last 30 years Most by @B1GMBBall player making tourney debut this century. pumpfake Posted March 16, 2022 Posted March 16, 2022 Regarding the way the game was officiated, Woodson & staff might want to do a little work on flopping. My gawd, WY got helped out several times by it last night. Fight fire with fire if necessary. Dave from Dayton and Chris007 2 Quote

DWB Posted March 16, 2022 Posted March 16, 2022 Just rewatched the game again. I knew the refs were bad, but my god, they were worse than atrocious. So inconsistent, non-sensical, incompetant. I made better calls when I ref'd rec leagues. pumpfake, upperarlington, thebigweave and 1 other 4 Quote

I believe they acted like their arms & hands fell off from us shaking them too hard. I did read where someone at the game said what people didn't see at home was the Wyoming coaches were in the ears of the officials during every TV timeout. thebigweave 1 Quote

Chris007 Posted March 16, 2022 Posted March 16, 2022 Am I the only one who had no idea that you could call a foul on someone, then review it for a flagrant, then decide the foul was on someone totally different? When did that rule get put in? RaceToTheTop, Stuhoo, IUc2016 and 5 others 7 1 Quote

Don't shoot a lot of threes. Great free throw shooting team but hardly get there....only getting 13 and a half free throws per game. Since they are playing IU, I'm sure the refs will have them at the line 30 Xs. thebigweave 1 Quote

When did that rule get put in? No. That’s a shock to many of us. Beyond being incredibly stupid, it is one more way in which instant replay slows the game down. Instead of checking for 5 sec and saying “nope, no flagrant. Play on.” They spend 5 min litigating a common foul. I hate instant replay. BannerVille, Joe_hoopsier and Chris007 3 Quote
