my guess would he Smith will stick with Auburn and the IU’s full coaching staff will keep on recruiting to improve the teams roster

Some have said they were in Philadelphia at the same time.  Woodson would of been an assistant

I believe Quinn Buckner and Scott Dolson both steered clear of Scott Drew because of past indiscretions, so the last thing they are going to allow is a 3rd assistant to come in and blow up the program. If he comes here it will be because he can coach and he can recruit, not to be a bag man. If he  understands and has an ability to deal with some of the slimier creatures of the basketball circuits without creating violations, all that much better. Time to start 21st century recruiting. Hell, even the Amish now use cellphones.

Posting this again.  It is clear to me the direction IU is going in order to get the b-ball program up to snuff again.  The grey area is about to be a little less grey.  So having people who were a part of that world is going to be an asset.  I know that is going to drive some people nuts, but it is not 1987 anymore, the entire sport is going this way.  If you want 1987 amateur athletics, you will have to look at D2 or D3, because D1 is going to be a mash-up between a semipro and an amateur league.

Indiana is advertising how we will make players money when NIL hits and we have an NBA guy for head coach with all his connections and now bringing in assistants with some of the same.  This is positioning to take advantage when the floodgates open.

Looks to be the case.  They seemed to both be there for the 2001-2002season.

So I guess your equally concerned about the fact that Dane Fife got talked about not to mention the massive MSU sexual abuse scandal?  Or do those things not matter because he’s an IU guy

Why do people keep telling me I'm upset or not because "IU guy"?  Was Fife targeted in the fbi probe?

Haven’t been here in a couple days. Rosemond appears to have not been on a staff for a couple years now. 
 

Where are people seeing he’s a shooting expert? I like that he’s younger and could have some nice potential to develop players.

It appears this is a recruiting coach perhaps? Interesting he’s been out of a job for two years. Did Woody call his old NBA coaching friend Avery Johnson asking for a name? lol

Both were cleared that they did know wrong doing though.  Names were given some where legit others weren’t.  Fife and Yas werent.

I can't find anything on it at all.  Just Dwayne Stephens at Michigan State.  What info do we have on Fife's mentions?

Rosemond has some damning info, but Dawkins wouldn't testify.

Fife was recruiting big-time recruits at a big-time basketball school. It doesn’t take too many leaps to guess what he was doing at Michigan State. And I’m completely fine with it. If you want to succeed in 21st century college basketball you have to act like a 21st century college basketball program.

Look back and you’ll see tweets that mentioned Fife.  I’m glad some of you aren’t on my life jury.  I thought it was innocent until proven guilt. LOL

That's a different argument imo.  I understand going a little grey, but to hire a guy who has quotes in the fbi probe just seems like a little much
