Here’s a story about coaching that I was told by an old man who was a Kentucky fan: My wife and I were returning home from a vacation in Charleston, SC right after mike Davis took over.. We had decided to get a room at a hotel on our way home which was on the Tennessee-Kentucky state line. After checking in, we headed over to a restaurant/bar next door for drinks and dinner. We sat next to this old man that was a Kentucky fan and started a conversation about the state of IU basketball. The old man was pretty compassionate about the IU dilemma and stated that IU will go through 5 coaches before they find the one that will bring them back to the level they should be. Archie is #5. Waiting now to see if this guy was some sort of savant. Hopefully he was. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners mobile app

Don’t think you’re way off. I think coaching has hurt both of them. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners mobile app

This has been proven in the last couple years under Archie. Don’t know if the issue last night was with Archie or another player. If I read TJD lips correctly last night he would be on the bench if he said that to the coach regardless. But I may not have read them correctly since the game was so exciting. After watching the last couple games I think some of the players have thrown in the towel. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners mobile app

I can agree with most on this list. I would like to see TJD be talked into another year under a new coach who would make him work on his effort and right hand. I also think you need to add a solid big to play the 5. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners mobile app

I think a smaller school could be what a kid or two might need. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners mobile app

Whatever IU does,I hope it happens quickly before players decide to jump ship. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners mobile app

He has purchased the old Ryan’s restaurant on the east side of Seymour and plans to demolish and build in the spring. This according to the news outlets. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners mobile app

That’s my pub next to the house. I have 4 taps that are all empty at the time. I need to get back to brewing and fill them up. Don’t know for sure where you live but am assuming Bloomington. It would be a bit of a haul for you to my house in scipio. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners -

Years ago I delivered beer around that area and it was pretty big IU area at that time. Haven’t spent much time down there since my relatives have all moved and or died. Guess times have changed. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners -

That’s kinda what I’m getting at.It’s a he said, they said, but nothing concrete to hang our hats on. I just can’t fathom a kid from that part of the state not going to IU. That area is red hot IU. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners -

Don’t post much here I mainly just read. But does anyone know if he was on the radio last for sure? His Instagram post seems to sound it’s all false. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners -
