It has been a long time since I have been this excited about Indiana basketball.  I can't wait to see a team go out on the floor, play loose, and have fun.  IU did not look like they were having fun last year, they looked like a team that had just been sentenced to a labor camp at the same time they were being punched in the dick and someone was kicking their puppy.

I am just not used to so many good things happening for IU basketball.  It is a bit overwhelming.  Dolson and CMW are effing killing it.

Well, he is at Oklahoma now and we do tend to hire former Oklahoma coaches.  Doesn’t end well.....I’m looking at you, Kelvin Sampson and Kevin Wilson.

Yes and no.  The assistant coaches take the lead from the head coach.  If the head coach isn't into player development, who is the assistant to take the players and develop them.  Kinda have to tread lightly going against the head coach.

Well I know it’s looking like we could get a Johnson commitment at 5:00 today, but what about this thread...what’s the chance this one could blow up with excitement of the 3rd coach today too?

Maybe a plausible reason for the delay in announcing the last assistant - maybe Roberts has been the primary contact for a couple players in the portal, and we don’t want to move him to a nonrecruiting position until after they commit or we fill all roster so he can keep communicating with those guys.

I personally just have a gut feeling that the UCLA final four run complicated things and Lewis might feel he’s closer to a championship or a head coaching gig than he originally thought.

 

Hell, maybe he gets a call from Arizona.

I'm starting to think so. Although they've been listed on there ever since Archie got fired and it hasn't been changed so I don't know if I'd look to much into it until there is an announcement.
