Hornsby Posted March 17 Posted March 17 That's for those university communities to decide. I care about Indiana University. I don't know if Sampson changed after Indiana or not and have no dug into it, but while he was here the team culture was a detriment to Indiana University and its community. As far as Chris Beard is concerned, I don't believe he has changed at all.Wow quite an assumption considering you don't even know him at all. I dont like to assume things about people I don't know but you clearly do. I don't think you would be to open minded on a jury. Too much bias for sure. Sent from my SM-A146U using Tapatalk

Their tournament résumé was objectively better than North Carolina’s on almost every level. But most importantly, the UNC AD was the chairman of the committee AND received a $104k bonus for his school making the tourney. WVU’s snub is one of the most egregious I’ve ever seen, and North Carolina absolutely didn’t deserve to get in over them. I don’t know if there’s precedent for anything like this, and I don’t think they’re likely to win. But I think it should be interesting if it gets to discovery without being tossed out. skhoosier2, tkbbn, PartyintheVillas and 3 others 5 1

Popular Post BehindTheBench Posted March 17 Popular Post Posted March 17 Gotta love the people who show up every day, practically foaming at the mouth, just waiting for someone to be wrong—dragging the rest of us down into their miserable little vortex. But the second someone brings any positivity to the board, they’re immediately labeled a troll and have their sources questioned—ironically, by the same people who have absolutely zero real connection to the program whatsoever. Yet, if someone posts something negative, they take it as gospel and wallow in the misery like it’s their life’s purpose. If they actually want to make a real change, they should get off their lazy ***** and donate to the NIL fund, support the basketball program, and give back to the university. Not just admissions, but support, NIL, etc. Taking NW to a tournament is akin to working a miracle. He wouldn't be a sexy hire, but leagues better than Brownell. Doubt it’s him but would take Chris Collins in a New York minute. Very good X’s & O’s. Understands the B1G. Kept his head above water at a brutal gig. Was the lead recruiter at Duke. Has seen the IU thing up close and would undoubtedly view this as a destination job. Young enough. I know there are folks around here who’d hate it. Don’t care, they’re wrong. rcbowla Posted March 17 Posted March 17 People get way too up in their feels here considering it's a message board. A place where folks come to share their thoughts and opinions. We supported Davis who we knew wasn't remotely qualified. We supported Crean who we didn't really like and didn't think was a good coach. We supported the absolutely mind blowing hires of Archie and Woody at least for the first few years. When Crean was pulling guys off the baseball team to field a full roster AH was still selling out. We have done our part. Get this hire right or we are done. Sorry not sorry. Sandman, mark1981, bigrod and 2 others 5
