What I like about that clip is he lets us know where the info came from.  He'd probably be in the know as he was asked for $$$.  ???

I’m close friends with a player who was on the same team as CZ. Just sent him a text to see if he can get to the bottom of the potential scouting trip. Will keep you all posted if I hear anything back. As far as I know, he and CZ still stay in touch.

He didn't say anything about agreeing with group think... You were complaining about how the mods police the board, and he simply told you to take a hike if you don't like how it's managed. The mods are super open to disagreements during my experience here...

I love the rumors as much as the next guy, but when has a coaching selection hit the message boards more than a few hours before the announcement?  Before Crean, I remember Lon Kruger was the suspected target.  Before Archie, the consensus was Donovan until Pitino shut the rumors down.   Last time it was Stevens.  IU has always been good at keeping things quiet during a coaching search. I think even Cig was not high on the coaching candidate lists before it came out.

Our conjectures are incorrect, with regard to the CZ recruiting weekend. If one of the insiders on here want to send me a DM, I can shed some more light on what was passed along.

McCollum with a nice road win today.  N Iowa had that game won at the end however they fouled a kid on a 3 with no time left and Drake down 2.  He missed the first but drained the the other 2 to win it in OT.   That should make them the 1 seed in the MVC tourney coming up and gives them a good chance to earn an at large bid if they lose in the semifinals of the MVC.

Don’t mean to be pedantic but I’d consider a leak something like a media outlet running a story naming a specific next coach citing an unnamed source. That’d be a leak. To me anything on the message boards are more like “whispers” or chatter as Rabjohns calls it lol. Sterling, I don’t think he’s very connected but it’s interesting I guess

Yep they clinched a share of the title at least. The loss to Bradley hurt their at large chances but like you said nice road win today helps. I was impressed in the late game clock management from McCollum. Very well placed timeouts. He is very in tune with his team.
