This. It is all about whether he wants to coach in college again. It's pretty simple. 

I know there are other factors, such as the possible sale of the Celtics, does the wife want to move, etc...

I honestly would guess that the decision about Stevens is already known. Either he's coming to IU or Dolson is already working on another candidate.

And I know that I'm one of the few people around here who feel this way, but I'm not 100 percent sure that Stevens is a sure slam dunk as a college coach at a high major in 2025.

I know...I know... I'm a philistine.

To each their own, but to me, coach-search season equals two things...

1. Actual excitement for something IU b-ball related, which has been real hard to come by the last 4 years IMO and...
2. That Big Foot is finally ready to disappear for good :)

I mean he did reject UK less than a year ago. I see no way this 1 is realistic despite him being my #1 or #2 by a large margin.

We’ve entered the Indiana University: Coaching Search 2K25 Game of Thrones Edition portion of the search and the job has only been open for three days. This place is amazing.
