Before him, only five 20 win seasons... 2) In year one at Drake, they had their best season in a decade. In year one at WVU they went from basically a last place team to a respectable team that should have been in the tournament. Had his son been healthy, they very well could have been a top 25 team. He got WVA to 19 wins in the Big 12 without his leading scorer. At Drake he won over 21 games every hear in those 6 years.!!
