When the local beat reporters are unable to sniff out any information about the coaching search, that says a lot and why i put zero trust in goodmans reporting. Beard (who I hate) and Will Wade (my favorite from the start) are available but it’d take a bunch of pride swallowing to make it happen, that’s why they’re available. He has the mentality to handle the iu fans and actually wants to be here! He dropped the bob knight quote and knew what he was doing imo. I like the hire but stinks alot won't. The search is hardly a failure because of the tier 1A guys not biting… that’s why they are in that tier. Was always more likely you’d have to take a calculated risk on someone.
