Squeaking into the tournament as a bubble/play-in after spending millions to piece together what was at the time a top 20 team is NOT going to get Woodson another year.  Now more than ever college basketball is a business and IU has paid Woodson plenty and he has not produced according to the standards he himself set from the beginning.

In all honesty though, I do think Brownell is a much more realistic candidate than many want to believe. In fact, if Dolson can't convince Scott Drew to leave Baylor I bet he's plan B.

Scott Drew is very likely plan B or beyond already.  Bronwell would be somewhere around plan k or so in a competent search list .  You don’t think Dolson has more than one person above Bronwell that he’s reached out to?  Smh…

Honestly, it won't work, but I wouldn't put this past him.  Someone had a great quote on this board (I don't recall the poster) -- Mike will do anything to save his job, except his job.

He could not be a more difficult person right now behind the scenes.  IU needs to be careful with giving him the mic on senior night.  I cannot wait for his tenure to end.
