Frieder wasn’t fired; he left for $ at Arizona State and Fisher was promoted and won it all.

Well, if we're being real and being honest, Woodson is not winning a natty... he's gonna be lucky to win the play-in game if he makes it that far...

IU is a better gig than Auburn as a basketball school. Pearl knows that. And Pearl has expressed his affection for the IU job. If the Cubs offered me the opportunity to play 2B at half my current salary I’d take it. If IU is indeed Pearl’s dream job, he wouldn’t even have to worry about a salary decrease.  It would be a no-brainer I would think. But I could be wrong.
