I don't think he is telling people who he is hiring. There are 4 people I know of who are putting up the money for the next coach. I have talked to people close to 3 of the 4. They all are sticking by Brad for now. The least of what they have said is he hasn't said no. So I'm just not sure who he is talking about. I believe someone is telling him that, I was told the HC guys were saying he wasn't coming but I don't know that. I'm happy to say he's not coming but I just haven't been told that. I think we have a lot of good choices this time so I'm not worried. Me personally wouldn't take Dusty off the table yet He didn't specifically say Dolson but he said "I know the person making the decisions at Indiana. I speak, personally, to the very, very select few people who help make the engines go at Indiana. It isn't my opinion. It is a factual statement: Brad Stevens is not going to be the next coach at Indiana. If you think that or you heard that or holding onto it. You are Incorrect. You are being lied to." Wondering...usually they do not store in wooden casks. Have you tried other vintages? Visited some vinyards in Italy, France and just recently, Portugal. Been to Napa and other areas both south of LA and south of Tijuana. We regularly visit Brandeberry Winery near Yellow Springs OH. When I go to whites, I like New Zealand cab blanc. Used to drink some sweet German Spätlese Mit Predakat. Like French oak over American oak aged...not as much pine flavor. If you love California Cab, I strongly recommend the following if you want to branch out: Ribera del Duero (Spain) Toro (Spain) Priorat (Spain) Southern Rhone (France) Chateauneuf-du-Pape (France) Gigondas (France) Amarone (Italy) cybergates and Dave from Dayton 1 1

I did say "likely" skimming from it, though I will agree "slush fund" was inflammatory language to make a point and try to get someone to prove otherwise. I get annoyed because they're taking IU fans' money. They have faced these allegations for some time and they could easily address it with some very basic transparency (which they promised), financial controls, and oversight. But they don't. And in my professional experience, it's about the biggest red flag imaginable. No company would let a CFO or controller handle this much money in this manner. Anyways, sorry, I got off topic with something a Peegs refugee mentioned. Back to the topic of Scott making a great hire for IUBB. I think its less about slush fund per se, but parlaying it for access to the athletic department in general that those two dorks would never otherwise have or be able to afford. That was always the part I didn't care for. Yea they're "helping" student athletes, but I would bet on a lie detector it was more about two fans wanting to rub elbows above their paygrade so to speak. JMO go iu bb, IUBtown and Pagoda 3

Like Scott Dolson is telling him what is going on knowing good and well he will run to a message board and say it. Scott is probably not even telling Heidi (Wife) who he is hiring at this point. He said the same thing yesterday and it was refuted by everyone. We know there has been more than a 5-minute Zoom. sirhoosierlot Posted February 26 Posted February 26 12 minutes ago, JustWinBaby said: Oof, boxed wine is tricky. Unless you've got a wine shop nearby that carries specialty boxed wines, I don't really have any recommendations on that front. I have a few tips though! 1) try out some alternate format or smaller format options, such as cans or half bottles. 2) screwcap closures do not signify cheapness or lower quality; if anything, they just reduce the likelihood of cork taint ruining your wine. and as a bonus they help preserve wines longer after they're opened. 3) always, ALWAYS re-close the bottle after every pour. oxygen is the enemy of wine. the less oxygen transmission, the better. keep the cork or screwcap on the bottle at all times unless you are pouring. 4) the gimmicky vacuum things actually do work, one of the few wine accessories that do anything of value. they will preserve a bottle for a day or two longer 5) white wine lasts longer than red wine (red wine contains tannins that can rapidly deteriorate with oxygen exposure), and in particular Chardonnay and Riesling last the longest after opening. Chardonnay in particular is highly resilient to oxygen. in my experience it often tastes better the day after opening, in fact. if you're a dry wine drinker and don't want sweet Riesling, always check the alcohol content -- anything above 12% is going to be dry, anything between 10-12% is medium dry, and anything below 10% is pretty sweet (7% and below is basically dessert wine). Edit to add: last but not least, use leftover wine for cooking! it's very easy to find delicious recipes for sauces, braises, pastas, etc, that incorporate wine. Even if it doesn't taste very good anymore, that doesn't mean it can't be used in a sauce. Just don't use anything that's been open super long (like a week or so) or the sauce likely won't taste real great. #1fanofafrin 1
