On Crean, I hope the guy keeps doing what he’s doing. He’s ok doing games, but I think he’s great doing studio analysis. Much better than Greenberg.

I agree I really enjoy his studio stuff. Plus his play-by-play is better than I thought. I always enjoyed talking basketball with him. He knows his stuff.

Offense and defense are too connected in basketball to have a football type coordinator for one side of the ball. 
 

Also, Creans offenses were very mediocre in the half court when a team could take transition away.  In his first two Zeller teams he’s lucky he only played Wisconsin in the regular season once each year, but then got eliminated by them in the BTT both years anyways.  In four games vs them Indiana only scored more than 60 points once.  
 

Crean shouldn’t have anything to do with the program besides cheerleader on tv.

If he signs an extension during the season with the IU position open, then he never really had much interest in the IU job. In this case, I would say that keeping Woodson another year probably didn't cost us May.

I've talked to some family and some family friends but have not gotten any read whatsoever. Knowing Dusty pretty well many years ago, I think he would listen. I think he is torn that he feels loyal to Michigan working there, but also loves IU and Bloomington

I know someone who is close friends with Dusty. He was a former manager with Dusty at IU, and he gets invited to sit behind the bench for the Michigan games. I see him regularly, but he keeps a tight lip on the situation. Also, I really don't push for information because it would feel weird. Personally, I think Dusty is the right fit because of his demeanor and age. This one year at Michigan has shown he can do it at the highest level.

All I can hope is that Dolson  can  give us a basketball coach  that is as good as the one he got us for football . I guess I am punishing  myself reading every news article or watching every  video about the coach search .Its wild because we aren't the only team needing a coach I can think of at least 2 others Virginia and Florida ST .  

Everyone's list is so and so is to old or not gonna move from or not good enough
