It looks like most of the coaches mentioned will be in the tournament, including May, Pearl, Beard, McCollum, Drew, etc....Jay Wright, Brad Stevens and Billy Donovan only 3 mentioned that will definitely not be coaching in the tournament this year. Am I missing anyone? I mean unless its a D2 coach....or, lord help us, Randy Wittman.... There will be a ton of smoke going in different directions toward and away from every candidate that we want to be considered for head coach lol. As of last night Brad is the guy until he makes it clear he’s not and as of last night, from my position he has not. Chris and the others are still hearing positive things about Stevens. One guy who knows a BOT member said Stevens wasn't interested in coaching. Yeagley and Chris are still strong pro Stevens unless I missed something. A couple others seem to be hearing things positive for Stevens. One of the new guys is the only one really saying there is no chance. (And Chris hinted he heard the opposite today) I wish people would quit with this Stevens stuff, we’re not getting that guy. IU is nowhere near as desirable as it was say 15-20 years ago. There is no way Stevens is leaving his current cake job for this headache here in the B1G. Each post I read, if I see something regarding Stevens. I just move on and the quicker some of you let go of this pipe dream, the better. Zero chance people CSP, T White, Chris007 and 4 others 4 2 1

Not being desirable? Do you know how many other programs have the resources IU does? Maybe 3,4? It’s actually more desirable than in 21 because of NIL. You can say those things to feel better but they aren’t true. Just saying. J34, thebigweave, Dave from Dayton and 1 other 4

IU is no where close to the same job it was 20 years ago. It's way more desirable in the NIL era. The new coach does not have to worry about recruiting, rebuilding, ect. They can come in, hit the transfer portal, and win right away, ie Kentucky and Louisville this year. There are multiple things about the Celtics job that is not cake. I suggest you research the 2nd apron of the salary cap, and what that means for the Celtics. Also with the majority stakes of the team up for sale, Stevens doesn't even know who his boss will be. I am not saying it IS going to happen, but the chances are alot better than zero. Deserthoozier, Papacap, Hoosierfanyuh and 14 others 15 2

coonhounds Posted February 11 Posted February 11 Scott doesn’t announce Woodson retirement when he did without being confident that he has his guyI love your posts cause they give me hope. I will argue that there was another motive to announce retirement. That was that the fans were ready to tear assembly hall down and throw woodson out with the remnants. I had concerns that it wouldn't calm us much but I think it worked some.Sent from my SM-S926U using Tapatalk Kentuckysucks and GP711 2

My wife's brother is deceased. Used to work for a firm right next to the sports consulting and law firm in Indianapolis that Dolson used to work for. His widowed wife told us yesterday that Stevens had someone in Zionsville airport that was talking to someone that signed in from the firm that a daughter did not recognize but they were talking about coaching at IU. The family member works at the FBO up there. I've been at work all night so forgive me: Is that real or sarcasm? Dave from Dayton, thebigweave and SlammySammy 1 2
