Enfield and Musselman can recruit:)

I’ve heard very not-kidding rumblings about certain head coaches only hiring assistant coaches with attractive wives for this very reason.

Not sure the logic is 100% concrete, but it isn’t surprising.

It's obviously play to the camera, tv level pep talk.  But I'm not sure why that bothers anyone.......it's harmless and certainly gets the national media on your side for giving them content.

And, oh yeah, they won that game at Kentucky.  Isn't that the important ting?

I never said it bothered me. Undeniably cheesy. Could've rolled out some whacky, waiving, inflatable arm flailing tube men and it wouldn't have been much cheesier. And yes winning is all that matters in my book

Can we just hire this guy already?

Goddamnit. Not gonna lie, this is bad. Say it ain't so Muss! I hated Tom Crean with every fiber of my body. This hits too close to home. Over the last several days I had moved Musselman all the way up to number 2 after Stevens on my wishlist, but this a permanently bannable offense from my top 5, let alone top 3.

However, that said, as bad as that Musselman pre-gamer was, nothing -- and I mean nothing -- will ever top this one right here. The single most cringe inducing moment in the history of sports or otherwise. Never before nor since, had a man's pregame speech singlehandedly lost a game for his team before they had even taken the floor. This was first and only time. Only, this wasn't any old game, no sir. What you're about to witness here was just moments before his team was set to take the floor for a game with a natty on the line.

Yes folks, that's right: this Icelandic abortion of a pregame pep-talk was delivered just ahead of the 2005 National Championship game.

Viewer discretion advised (although something tells me everyone around here, myself included, will find this one rather enjoyable)

Have heard James Franklin at Penn State will not hire an assistant if they don't have a hot gf/wife......his logic is that if they don't then they aren't confident enough to own the room lol

Could be a coverup for his true reason which is he really likes "key" parties.
