It does get a bit easier every day and every hour to imagine Ainge and Stevens just decide the C’s need a new voice (perhaps one or both knowing Stevens has a dreamy landing spot.)

Did you hit me with a beer covered snow ball? I was 11 and my parents drove me down to the fountain to celebrate. I remember getting hit and thinking this is what beer tastes like.

For real though, he's not getting fired. Celtics Twitter can scream all they want, the vast majority know Stevens is a good coach, one of the best in the league. 

Wyc and Danny don't operate on fans being upset. They're not firing him. It would have to be Stevens deciding he's ready to come back to Indiana. 

I'll admit, his comments pregame sounded different than when the IU job was open last time, and Dolson seems much different than Glass last time. 

But, I still see this as a long shot.

Agreed. I saw/heard lots of people thinking he was a "Yes Man" and would be a dud as athletic director...but so far color me impressed. I don't think he could have handled things better thus far...now here's hoping he gets his "white whale".
