Dolson is playing the long game.

1.) Hire an older coach to right the ship, because Brad Stevens isn’t quite ready to leave the NBA yet. But...

2.) In a couple years when Brad is finally run out of Boston, a hand off happens.

Yep Fred glass will always be viewed as a failure despite what he did for football, Soccer, women’s basketball and baseball.  Basketball defines an IU AD. Might not be fair but it’s how it is

No doubt true. Count me firmly in the Stevens ain’t comin’ camp, though I’d be happy as hell to be wrong, but Dolson didn’t get 2 different guys to make 8 figure commitments so he could hire my guy, Craig Smith. He is convinced he’s got a Guy and he was able to convince them he’s got a Guy.

I looked at the stats for Butler under  Stevens and notice they were never in the top 100 in s coring average.  They were in the bottom half in 2PA and 2PM and their shooting percentage was not great.  It seemed like they always had great defensive stats and the most important stat is winning percentage.
