If true, that would be a major failure on his part.

Of course, when an announcement IS made he'll say "this is the guy we were after all along".  Sheesh.

If true, “ him” is a major Richard who fu**@d around with IU and is not a reflection on Dolson. Then IU had to do an actual Coach search.

If you think DeVries is remotely comparable to the Woody hire and constitutes getting “hoodwinked” I’d hate to hear you describe the Louisville hiring of Kelsey lol.

Mugging gone wrong?

Stabbed and left for dead in an alley?

Grand theft auto?

Sign me up for getting hoodwinked!

The answer's obvious. Its held at gunpoint in a strip club.

So Dolson and Stevens had a handshake agreement for over a month causing Dolson to not pursue May, Drew, Otzelberger and it fell apart….again….at the last minute. And you believe that?

Good lord

That doesn't seem to be what he's insinuating, and I don't believe that any of that is the case.

Most of the time if a coach doesn't get pursued, it's because he was not interested. Backchannel conversations are happening all the time. This is why Dolson hired a search firm. If we didn't pursue Otz or Drew, there's probably a simple explanation: they didn't want the job. As far as May, I believe there was some mutual interest, but not enough on May's part to pull him away.

You're making an awful lot of assumptions about what happened. Do you really think Dolson sat on his hands for two months, watched WVU get snubbed in the tourney, and started making calls Sunday night??

Well he's not going to say he was caught with his pants down and had to scramble.
