Got undercut on a fast break and took a nasty fall on his back. Thought the kid was really hurt. Down for several minutes. Took him to the locker room, wasn’t walking well at all. Came back out to the bench walking a little better and proceeded to flat wear his coach out trying to get back in the game. Coach finally gave in and that kid competed his a$$ off at about 70%. Long way of saying, yeah, kid’s a dawg and I’d take him in a second. Napleshoosier, fwgreenway, taco corp and 7 others 10 Quote

Lockdown defender - First Team All-Big12 Defense.. Contributes to winning. Two years remaining eligibility. Smart, thoughtful, team oriented young man that is a high-level culture addition. It's a decent chance he wouldn't have started last year at WVU with Stone and Tucker Small Stone DeVries Okani Hansberry Harris Powell Yesuf Andre IMO-- is a pretty darn good group, especially if Stone fit seamlessly. And building that type of roster, year 1 with those resources has me excited. Demo, Home Jersey, thebigweave and 2 others 5 Quote

Unfortunately, he got caught up in Woody's system -- I guess his NIL takes some of the sting off of that. He may not be a fit for CDD, but hopefully he can find a place where he can start improving again. skhoosier2, JaybobHoosier, Stuhoo and 2 others 5 Quote

I’m sure he’s a good kid but usually only played hard on offense in the form of out of control passes and shots. ATO horrible and opposite of CDD philosophy of taking care of the ball. Quote

Just saying; when he was at Washington State and wasn't being coached by Woody, his assist/turnover rate was excellent. HoosierTrav, Hollywood Mike Miranda, str8baller and 9 others 12 Quote

Would have never thought that Cupps could score 30 against anyone, but @Hovadipo with an avatar bet adds some funky "Bug-eyed Josh pic" pro-Gabe juju for sure. So maybe. Hoosierfan2017 Posted March 26 Posted March 26 The guys Woodson brought in last year (except maybe Goode) came for the money. It doesn’t mean they’re bad kids, or that money is all they care about, but it’s why they came to play for Mike Woodson. I’m ready for a completely fresh start, so I’m glad to see everyone hitting the portal, as harsh as that may sound. After listening to DD’s interview yesterday, he sounds like a normal, down to earth, hardworking guy, and I’m excited to see who he brings in. J34, go iu bb, Stuhoo and 4 others 7 Quote

But I'd keep Goode and roll the dice on Tucker who Woodson seemed to have beef with. I had a buddy tell me Tucker asked to be shut down as well. I don't know that I care one way or another, but I don't want to see any resemblance of the type of basketball we saw this year. J34 1 Quote
