He is a very tall skinny lengthy player. Has a huge wingspan and is a dominating presence on defense. He's probably 6"10 or 6"11. He has never really shown an offensive game but Bosse just graduated three 1000 point scorers so he didn't really have to do much. Time will tell if he can play on the offensive end, but his presence on D is tremendous. Reminds me kind of Jaren Jackson when he was a freshman and sophomore. Louisville insider Demling from their 247 board removed Ramsey from their Big Board and said he doesn’t think there is any chance he ends up at Louisville. I think you are correct when you said he is not the type of kid that comes to IU. From what I was told a few weeks ago I was going to be surprised and disappointed if he ended up at IU.

Is he actually going to Hoosier Hysteria? Hope so, and sees the treatment Romeo gets and falls in love with the environment. I want this kid bad, but he just doesn't seem like the type of kid that comes to IU. But the last time I said that was during Thomas Bryant's recruitment, so you never know.

I understand the thought process but I remember the classic contests between the Knight and Keady teams when both were really good. At the end of the day, I would rather beat them when they are also good. And when both teams each have several in state kids, it's even better.

Judging from Peegs, it seems like we are pursuing Anthony Harris still. But guard options are becoming pretty slim.

I'm actually OK with him at Purdue. And, yes, he'll probably be a pain to the Hoosiers. But he is close to his family, and without knowing the details, that's probably the most important thing. We can't take everyone and I trust CAM to be the difference maker when it counts. I hope things work out for Newman and he realizes his dreams.

Crean did dabble in rules breaking recruiting him, but he was out of schollies and sastified with the bowel movement studs like Hollowell, Perea, Jurkin and the kid from Broad Ripple. Yogi was the only one of that terrific class who made it til graduation. Izzo showed Crean the way off the court since he certainly didn’t teach him how to coach.

I would think it would be highly unlikely TJD and Stewart end up at the same place. Stewart to MSU could eliminate competition for TJD. I would rather have TJD as he is much more likely to be in college for more than a year.

TJD first or maybe at the same time

I haven’t seen anyone say they oppose flashy. I have only seen people say they oppose dropping the scrimmage. So I don’t know what you are talking about on this. The scrimmage is what pulls in the fans. This event is for recruits. Part of recruiting to IU is showing how crazy our fans are and this being a basketball state. Hard to say that in front of 1k fans when no scrimmage is played. Hard to get player name chants with a thousand fans at most. That’s what I feel most are arguing against. Yikes been looking at single game tickets for other Big Ten teams. Surprised how pricey some of these expected to be bad teams are. I am wanting to go to an IU game at every big ten venue.
