MoyeNeeded Posted May 1, 2018 Posted May 1, 2018 Did you all listen to Tim’s interview and he said Romeo thought I’m prefacing this now that he thought he would have a better point guard at IU. Think back to the McDonald’s game when that clown garland shot instead of giving up the ball to him wide open. LolSent from my iPad using BtownBannersParaphrased said that Romeo likes to handle the ball a little more than what would be expected playing with Garland.Sent from my SM-G930P using BtownBanners mobile app Class of '66 Old Fart, pumpfake and Napleshoosier 3 Quote
TheWatShot Posted May 1, 2018 Posted May 1, 2018 This nugget brought to you courtesty of Phog: if it makes anyone feel better, there was a possesion in the 2nd half of one of the all star games where he was on the perimeter dribbling, and a teammate was so wide open under the basket he started clapping his hand, and Romeo was oblivious. No court awareness. We got a couple really good looking recruits that do share the ball. I'll take it...but Doke's gone too FYI. But it will be fun to see this next team grow. Alford Bailey Posted May 1, 2018 Posted May 1, 2018 Great get by Archie and co. for many reasons. Didnt think we were ever going to get to the announcement though. rlkellermd 1 Quote
Popular Post CSP Posted May 1, 2018 Popular Post Posted May 1, 2018 Fwiw.. Bozich actually had a decent tweet tonight: Something along the lines of we had no room to complain about the length of the announcement because Romeo had spent countless hours signing autographs for everyone on his own time. I thought that was fair. Hoosiers!!!! Milldawg12, southsidehoosier, Btownclouds and 9 others 12 Quote
Popular Post Stuhoo Posted May 1, 2018 Popular Post Posted May 1, 2018 Just listened to the ITH interviews of Tim Langford and Coach Shannon. A major takeaway from both:There is absolutely NO doubt in my mind that Rob Phinisee is THE most important recruit that IU has had in a long time. There is NO doubt in my mind that Romeo Langford very much considered Rob Phinisee being at IU as a HUGE plus. And so will others.Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Ohreally, IUsafety, RaceToTheTop and 27 others 30 Quote
KingPG21 Posted May 1, 2018 Posted May 1, 2018 Gems from the Purdue Rivals board Romeo will lose the last college game in which he plays. - As opposed to any Purdue player Lol not worried. Nojel will shut him down He won't be playing any defense at IU. HooHooHoo22, Iugradman, CSP and 1 other 2 1 1 Quote

They think Archie cheated to get him and they can't understand why any 5 star player would come here. While it's funny reading their sour comments, it kind of sucks that that's how other programs view us now. Angry and petty towards us is much better for us than being laughed at. Seems like bruised ego’s to me. Can’t wait to watch that program burn to the ground from the FBI investigation. Iugradman, Napleshoosier, Tom White and 4 others 7 Quote
HoosierFan1994 Posted May 1, 2018 Posted May 1, 2018 Courtesy of the Kansas board..LOL I feel like there are a lot of Trae Young parallels here. If Langford ends up being as good as Trae Young (extremely unlikely) it’s possible that Indiana could have a season like OU’s next year (10 seed, mid-conference finish), although OU had a better coach and a bit better supporting cast.
