Popular Post Dalton26 Posted May 1, 2018 Popular Post Posted May 1, 2018 Just listened to the ITH interviews of Tim Langford and Coach Shannon. A major takeaway from both:There is absolutely NO doubt in my mind that Rob Phinisee is THE most important recruit that IU has had in a long time. There is NO doubt in my mind that Romeo Langford very much considered Rob Phinisee being at IU as a HUGE plus. And so will others.Sent from my iPhone using BtownBannersJust got done watching those videos. They had a lot of love for Phinisee and I’m glad we got them both. If Langford ends up being as good as Trae Young (extremely unlikely) it’s possible that Indiana could have a season like OU’s next year (10 seed, mid-conference finish), although OU had a better coach and a bit better supporting cast. That’s too good an opportunity to pass up. And the fact of being the cornerstone recruit to bring IU back to the elite. Way too good an opportunity to pass up. TJD is next Quote

Hoosier1984 Posted May 1, 2018 Posted May 1, 2018 I really think if we get 2-3 of TJD, Watford, Brooks or Hurt then Romeo will stay 2 years for sure. That would be so much talent along with what we already have to walk away fromSent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Quote

HoosierFan1994 Posted May 1, 2018 Posted May 1, 2018 I think the media is going to undersell this team next year...not saying IU hangs banner six but I think they compete for a Big Ten title and make the second weekend of the ncaa tournament. Sparty, UM, Purdue, and Ohio State all have major losses. I'm sure UK and UNC will be in our bracket though... Deserthoozier and lillurk 2 Quote

Our upperclassmen picked it up last year and they had years of Crean to unlearn. These young guys will be clean slates. Justin Kotter 1 Quote
