Skip Bayless went to Vanderbilt. Not surprised by that comment.

Kansas fans are legit pissed. They think Archie cheated to get him and they can't understand why any 5 star player would come here. While it's funny reading their sour comments, it kind of sucks that that's how other programs view us now.

Angry and petty towards us is much better for us than being laughed at. Seems like bruised ego’s to me. Can’t wait to watch that program burn to the ground from the FBI investigation.

Courtesy of the Kansas board..LOL

I feel like there are a lot of Trae Young parallels here. If Langford ends up being as good as Trae Young (extremely unlikely) it’s possible that Indiana could have a season like OU’s next year (10 seed, mid-conference finish), although OU had a better coach and a bit better supporting cast.

Don’t mind me....I’m just over here watching Romeo Langford highlights and drinking straight bourbon whiskey. I’m migrating over to the Kansas and Vandy boards next.

The Anchor Droppers are pretty bitter right now, too (all 8 of them).  They've somehow convinced (deluded) themselves into believing that they are somehow relevant in basketball LOL (they're a bowling school for cryin out loud).

Gems from the Purdue Rivals board

Romeo will lose the last college game in which he plays. - As opposed to any Purdue player

Lol not worried. Nojel will shut him down

He won't be playing any defense at IU.

Come on, you have to remember that Nojel put his name in for the draft.  No way he's back after the NBA execs learn he can shut down Langford.

Just listened to the ITH interviews of Tim Langford and Coach Shannon. A major takeaway from both:
There is absolutely NO doubt in my mind that Rob Phinisee is THE most important recruit that IU has had in a long time. There is NO doubt in my mind that Romeo Langford very much considered Rob Phinisee being at IU as a HUGE plus.
And so will others.

In any other year Rob P. would be a Mr. Basketball, I think he's going to be invaluable to the team.

It's always funny to see the Purdue Cicadas (every seven years they make it to the s16) act like they've ever accomplished something.

In fact, Langford's commitment to Indiana is the first time since 2007, when Eric Gordon stayed home, that the Hoosiers have landed the top-ranked player from the state. During Tom Crean's nine years at Indiana, the Hoosiers landed just five of the 35 ESPN 100 players from the state.

We are happy now but am I the only one worried that Painter is going to lock down the state the next few years????

LOL

Not even Mrs. Painter think that is possible!!

They're going to be so pissed when we grab TJD and possibly Brooks too.

Purdue thought they had Damezi in the bag as well.

The only thing Painter is ever going to lock down is their practice facility after the Sweet 16 games are over each year.

Brilliant.
