The lowest last year went all the way down to $1800 after it being in the $3000s. But with this matchup, I’m not sure they will drop below $2800 again. Although I’m not attending the game, I hope they prices drop reasonably for the fans.

The one encouraging thing I’m seeing, at least on stubhub, is the number of available tickets going up. There are some tickets in the $3200-3400 range after the floor previously up around $3500. We’ll see…

I think they have dropped around $1000 since Saturday. I’m pretty sure they were going for $4500 Saturday evening.

....I found this funny on Miami's message board just now.

...this one, especially.

They are not built to stop our run. They are too small to handle DUO blocking schemes and natural double teams. They are small and slice between gaps against teams to stop the run. Mirabal's OL system uses tight splits to prevent this. They are playing right into our hands. They will have to take on our power straight in the mouth and deal with it for 60 minutes.

I don't care what the stats say. We should be able to move them all night. Wear them down because they have no depth.

They are a very good football team, but I'm telling you they don't match up well against us.

Stop the run, and run the ball. If we can't we will get smoked like everyone is saying.

Time of possession:

IU  About 35:00-minutes

Miami:  About 25:00+minutes

Skill and execution wins out over mistakes and mistakes execution (that Miami up to this point has gotten away with at times) in this one.  And yes IU combination runs and pass will allow IU to pound that tired big ole ugly Miami defensive line as game wears on.

Yea, for me once the weekend ended the magnitude of this game started to hit me and the old butterflies started building up.  By gametime my heartrate will be sky high.

Not that my opinion matters, but I've got zero issue with comparing this to '02.  To each their own with IU athletics.  But with CFB being 4-5x bigger than CBB, the story of this IUFB team vs. the surprise run of '02, in my view this game is quite a bit bigger.  I'd say it's the biggest IU game ever... by kind of a lot.

But, as a fan, this is all you can ask for.  The better you get, the bigger the upside and bigger the downside!  We've got a decent shot Monday, and that's amazing.

What I wouldn't give for a Ponds pick-6 on Miami's opening possession if for no other reason than to watch the internet break in real-time.

That would be epic.

Ditto, with the addition of a specific personal preference.

This is probably the biggest game of my lifetime. I think I'd put it just above the 2002 natty game. I think just because we are 15-0 and had been the worst program in history and how great this team has been.

I have also never felt so calmly nervous in my life. It really hasn't reached me yet that this is even real. I seen the commercial for the game last night and it is incredibly difficult to register this actually happening.

Personally, I am hoping it's 21-0 after the 1st quarter and I can just sit back and relax the rest of the game.

This literally doesn’t feel real. And since it’s us it feels like maybe something is just broken in CFB now and none of the other teams are actually good this year. I wanted to just see one 10 win season in my lifetime. We’re currently 15-0 and about to play for a national championship.

I need to keep reminding myself that we’re now looking at this landscape from a whole new angle, and whether it’s just for this season or the new normal, come Monday Indiana University can literally lay claim to having the best football team in the country. This is what it’s supposed to look like when your team is #1 and beating the hell out of everyone else. It doesn’t mean that the rest of the teams are broken. Thankfully our team doesn’t have imposter syndrome.

There is no one in the other 48 states, besides Indiana and Maryland, that knows who played in the 02 National Championship in basketball. Indiana Football has grabbed headlines for 15-17+ months now.

This dwarfs being Kent St, Duke, and Oklahoma during March. Dwarfs.
