Do you think he just got dumber in one year? Ballo’s PER dropped to his second lowest of his career and his second lowest shooting percentage over his career. They made the choice of chasing a bag instead of getting paid more and finding a good fit for their skill sets. The other two coaches were able to maximize them. Agreed, bad fit was part of it. Bad coaching too. Can't underestimate being in the PAC12 as well. The B1G was also deeper/better as a conference as a whole. lillurk 1 Quote

Assuming IUs budget is one of the tops in the country Lville doesn’t have any more money to offer someone like Conwell. They just choose to pay him more. Yeah, but don't they already know (roughly or specifically) how much money has been allocated to players already on the team? Quote

If you want to be a big boy program you have to big boy program things. We consistently don’t. We apparently will only spend the money for top tier talent when the coach has already revealed themselves to be incompetent. We lose one recruiting/budget battle and this dude just crashes out, lol Scotty R, woodenshoemanHoosierfan, JustWinBaby and 6 others 8 1 Quote

He's never won anything at any level to the point where I've said to myself, "We have to have that kid". Would have been fine with Mullins committing here, but I didn't lose any sleep when he chose UConn, just like I didn't lose any sleep when McRoberts chose Duke. Forgot about him the next day. I’ll go along with you ; he spurned IU for the trendy, shiny UConn and their a$$hole coach so byes bye and enjoy your time there. Hardwood83, SlammySammy and CSP 3 Quote

I don't know enough about Bidunga to fully agree, but having to try to play against Payne in the paint seems like it would make for a long day and a sore tomorrow. That dude plays hard and is physical. Silat Player, Henryville Hoosier, lillurk and 2 others 5 Quote
