Does this mean we anticipate a current guard on the roster to leave...not sure that visit makes sense unless there is a potential for that. 

I really hope not...I want to see Cupps develop and what Newton has to offer. I think Newton could be an overlooked piece, kid is a dog and crazy quick and athletic.

He could but red shirts still count against the scholly numbers.   Doubt he would want to red shirt after playing as many minutes as he did as a freshman

Colorado is the presumed favorite. Wish that wasn't the case since there aren't a lot of good options out there for the backup 5 spot but portal isn't closed yet. Time to start tampering.

As far as we have heard, yes, IU is still a consideration.  He visited Colorado after he visited IU.

We are in the race. He just visited Colorado and my understanding is that Colorado  got him to visit because they have a lot of minutes and a lot of $ to offer him. I still think we are in a good position, but he wants to take his time. I expect it to come down to IU vs Notre Dame just due to proximity to his home and where he played his first 4 years of college.

Remember - this is his first time going through a big time recruitment, so I am not surprised to see him taking his time. I think we could hear something this week.

I think the best part of the "Goode to IU" possibility is that really stacks up the perimieter players. Then with only  Reneau, Ballo and a reserve post player TBD on the roster it's gonna make it much harder to clog the lane!  That should make about 98% of this board happy.
