It shows a lot of maturity on his part, I felt like he should have gotten more playing time but he seems to have accepted that he had work to do and was willing to do it! Hopefully that pays off for him big time next season and going forward.

For sure.  Trent is the man.  100% Hoosier and a throwback in the world of transfers and one year stints.

He’s put up with a lot since his commitment.  Hopefully it works out for him and he can contribute more and be on some good teams.

Let’s see what this first weekend brings.  We kind of seem behind given the “head start” we had.  But if we can land a couple of “our guys” this weekend we’ll have some momentum to fill out the roster.  If we get nothing, then IDK but it ain’t looking too good.

Burton/Mustaf/Sherrell?  

That would be incredible. 

EDIT: Burton/Mustaf/Harris is also a solid start, but obviously a big would still be a big question mark.

I think it's referring to Burton / Mustaf / Harris, the 3 guards visiting this weekend. Sherrell would be awesome though. And, it is Tyme, so......... we will see ha

Oh yeah, sodium levels are high.  Good start either way, but an impact big is still the biggest need.

How are we “behind” exactly? I have zero clue how negative Nancie’s have takes like these when something like 50 players out of 3,000 in the portal have committed to this point.

Would be plenty happy with Burton/Mustaf but having the potential upside of Harris, assuming we don’t have to break the bank for him, would be awesome.

Yes, I think so too. I believe it’s a reference to closing the deal on the 3 visits this weekend. Sherrell is still a bit early and is visiting Duke today. 

Also, Tyme could also be setting this up to doom and crash out on the staff if any of the three don’t pan out.

And Tyme thinks we will get all 3 guards.  Thinks we are saving money for another couple splashes

Yes we should be expecting initial commitments next week. 

I viewed that post you responded to slightly differently... Wouldn't call it dooming per se. We definitely are not "behind" but we did have a head start (theoretically, by not being in the tournament) compared to some of the teams that do have commitments already. If we don't have momentum after this weekend, I think it's fair to say it's not looking "too good" ... we've got a lot of money and a lot of spots to fill. Guys are going to want to know who they'll play with. Hopefully after this weekend, that will be more clear.
