Mgbako to A&M

Interesting. I never watched buckyball but get the impression it calls for very active players on both ends of the court. Does not seem like a MM thing but maybe Woody would not let him loose.

I have it on pretty good authority there’s no love lost between Mgbako and Woodson which I do think affected his effort especially toward the end of the year. I’m sure he sees A) a big bag, knowing college deals may be as good as it gets for him B) sees himself in a star role on a relatively long leash with a new coach in P5.

I figure Bucky is happy to take a lotto ticket on Mgbako in year 1. I think he will do better at his next stop like Gunn, Bates and Banks. Some of those guys were thought to have attitude / motor / selfish problems but have done just fine for themselves. Not saying he will be a world beater by any means for the record.

Mgbako playing Bucky Ball is crazy.  Hopefully Bucky can unlock something in him Woodson couldn't.

Bucky plays elaborate defenses and I think this is just odd. Mgbako, played on an incredibly talented aau team and had God given shooting chops, but he was not a very intelligent young man and had never been coached. Honestly, N. Florida would've been perfect. They were 353rd I think in team defense and got up a crazy amount of 3s. He could add 25ppg there.

He’s a slow Malik Reneau + 40 lbs.

I’ll leave this to CDD, but nothankyou

A lot better defensively than Reneau.

That said, not sure how he still has any eligibility left.

Brother..

The kid took the whole city of Jeff put him on his back and beat one of the best teams this states assembled.

I've felt like a Sherron would be a tremendous add to the staff and Singleton would be a great player to develop over the next 4 years. I know it's not likely, but imagine if he landed Singleton, Sisley and Mullins in his first year?

Sherron is right where he needs to be.
