I just think it gives Buckner more ammunition. But it’s going to come down to who gives in first. I truly believe that Buckner knows Woody isn’t the answer.

The Trilly discord, ironically, had some misinformation in it alleging that Trilly had input on Norlander's prediction Woody would be retained. He clarified he did not provide any info on that. He also said he would like to point out that it "wasn't an accident" that one of Norlander's recent articles is a feature on Pearl and his potential landing spots this cycle.

Indiana was not listed in that article, but they do not have an opening. Louisville was, but they don’t have an opening yet either. But I supposed the article being wrong on 02/20 plays a factor.

This thread was created on Feb 3 I believe. The speculation is ongoing... one person suggested that it was BP signaling he'd be open to leaving. I tend to think he wouldn't need to signal publicly to start a back channel conversation, which would lend credence to the idea that BP put that article out with the intention of leveraging AU for what he wants. The fact Trilly says that IU would make the move on Woody with the intention of hiring Pearl, suggests to me that Trilly is saying Pearl's interest in IU is genuine. But to be clear, TD has not directly stated that and it's just my own interpretation. Doesn't exactly address the elephant in the room though

Well Woody, we aren't going to have X at all next year.  If we have to go deep into the portal to fill a roster we aren't going to know each other again next year.  We won't be young at least chronologically.  But that damn hump will still be there.

That’s sort of what I said, he struggled with team leadership and chemistry all season and he made an excuse that his defense takes time to learn, it’s going to be worse with new players every year from the portal.  At least he had some returning players that had played in his system, if he goes the portal way, then his defense will take years to master, lol

Saw this article was published a few hours ago. Has some of the tweets that were posted on here earlier in it, so not much else we haven’t seen or heard before. The fact is though, it shows that Bruce being tied to IU is certainly getting out there from more sides than one.
